Today's Everyday Fashion: Gray Leather Jacket

This isn't so much an outfit post as it is show and tell with a new gray leather jacket! (I threw on a t-shirt and jeans for the photos.) I wear my black leather jacket more than any other item in my closet, so I've been wanting to add a gray leather jacket as another option. When I spotted that this Michael Kors jacket was on super sale (down to $198 from $495), I decided to order it online. It's gorgeous in person; the leather is so soft it's almost suede. It's incredibly heavy and warm though - the thing must weigh 10 pounds! I can't imagine wearing it to run errands or even keeping it on during dinner due to the weight, so sadly I think it's going back. I highly recommend it for anyone in a colder climate though! And stay tuned later this week for a 5-year review of all my budget posts and what I've learned about making purchasing decisions like these. Would you keep this jacket?
