I saw this inspiration photo and loved the color combo of the mustard yellow and purplish gray. I went to my closet and selected the items that were the closest in color - even though they were reversed and even though it seemed like they would never go together. The result is this somewhat quirky combination that I totally love! I normally see this skirt as being very futuristic, something to wear out for a sexy date night, and the shirt is a t-shirt I wear to the grocery story. But something about the blending of the two worlds really appeals to me and takes an ordinary idea into something fun and different!
