Today's Everyday Fashion: Opposites

This is my Easter dress from two years ago. I wore it with bright colors last time (here), but for today's look I was all about opposites. The dress is a conservative shape and feminine floral print, so I've mixed it with edgy shoes and a masculine leather jacket. It's an outfit idea I'm happy to borrow from Rachel Bilson and other celebs, and I think it translates well to real life. Would this type of outfit work for you?
