Swisspers Giveaway & Twitter Party! [Now Closed]
Last year I participated in Swisspers' "Sleep Naked" challenge and won! (See my makeup free photo below!) I was up against some pretty stiff competition - including cast members from RHONJ and the Khardasians. I ultimately won the vote and 10k for my charity of choice, To Write Love on Her Arms. A total underdog moment!
This year, I'm back to help crown the new winner! It's a face-off between Bachelorette Emily Maynard and reality star Danielle Jonas, go here to vote. Plus I'm doing a fun giveaway and participating in a Twitter party - and you are invited to both!
First, the giveaway: one lucky reader will win a YEAR's SUPPLY of Swisspers, plus a $50 bank gift card. All you have to do is pick either Emily or Dani by taking the pledge here, then let us know you've entered via the Rafflecopter box below. The winner will be selected at random on 9/23.
Second, the Twitter party: you are invited to join the #SleepNaked Twitter party on National Sleep Naked Night – September 19, 2013 from 8:30-10:30 p.m. ET. I will be tweeting away (@jseverydayfash), along with the celebrity with the most pledges. Either Emily Maynard or Dani Jonas will answer fan questions in a live video chat, and have a 5k donation made in her name to a charity empowering young women. Don't miss it!
And finally: let's talk about healthy skin and what it means to "sleep naked!" Remember my swollen eyelid from sleeping in my mascara a couple weeks ago? (Yuck!) I should've paid closer attention to the Swisspers® Sleep Naked campaign, which urges women to achieve a healthier skin regimen by sleeping naked and ending your day makeup-free. Studies have shown that 50% of women do not remove their makeup daily, and of those that do, 80% don’t do it properly. To read more on this subject check out these resources: why you should sleep naked, how to remove face and lip, how to remove eye, and FAQ.
My photo from last year. Zero makeup and zero photo editing. Gulp!
