Today's Everyday Fashion: I Finally Figured Out This Band Jacket

This jacket has been mocking me for months. It sat in my closet, daring me to wear it, and frustrating me to no end as I kept trying it on with different things but nothing ever looked right! I even ordered several tops and dresses specifically for it, but to no avail. I finally marched into my closet this week, determined not to leave until I figured it out and the right solution was there all along: a top I've had for 8 years, my favorite skinny jeans, and two-toned mules. The even better part? We've got cold weather forecasted for the weekend so the timing is perfect. I'm glad I stuck with it and kept trying - this jacket looks super luxe (it was a great deal) and I really like the band jacket trend. Is this is a trend you would wear?
