Today's Everyday Fashion: Bay View Cottages
What does one wear to a family reunion on Lake Michigan?! That's the question I faced when packing for our recent trip to Bay View. The main event was dinner on the bay, complete with family portrait, and I wore this floral maxi dress (originally featured just a few months ago). Maxi dresses are great when you're not sure how dressed up you need to be, because they really read both ways - comfy and casual, but also pretty and polished. After dinner, Joshua and I toured colorful cottages around Bay View, with their Victorian style architecture and lawns brimming with flowers. One of my favorite cottages is the pictured "Painted Lady" above, and the bursts of pink and blue hydrangeas at the cottage below are my pick for prettiest yard!
