Today's Everyday Fashion: The Original Travel Blogger

Last summer someone brought my husband's great grandmother's travel journals to the family reunion. There were stacks and stacks of them - full of pictures of Europe and Africa, aboard the Queen Mary 2. It was amazingly vintage and glamorous and I remember thinking with such well kept records, "she's the original travel blogger!!" One of my favorite things about blogging is having a journal of all the cool places we've been. Whether it's right here in our backyard, or on the streets of Havana in today's post. And of course I hope the style is inspiring, too! I bought this yellow dress and purse specifically for our trip (last year, when our trip was originally scheduled, so they are sold out now). I remember being in the fitting room and wondering if this dress was a little too over-the-top, but I'm so glad I went for it!! It's so festive and tropical that I was literally twirling. For your next trip or event, go all out girl! Snap those pictures and keep those memories forever - and I will too!
