Last time I wore this houndstooth skirt (here) someone asked "what colors can you wear with houndstooth?" My response was anything except orange, because orange and black can look very Halloween. And here I am a couple weeks later wearing black and orange together! That's why fashion "rules" are so hard to make in my opinion, because you can almost always find an exception.
