Today's Everyday Fashion: Trench Love

This is another outfit from my menswear segment on Fox 35. I was inspired by celebs on the red carpet in tuxedos. I toned it down for everyday wear by replacing dress pants with jeans, and a trench instead of a blazer. To achieve the tuxedo vibe, I buttoned the collared shirt all the way up, and added a necklace in a short length to somewhat mimic a bow tie. I wore this outfit on the plane ride home from LA with the flats in this post.
I wore this trench the entire time I was in LA - you can see the leopard shirt/black jeans combo I wore on Instagram here. I'll reveal more about my trip later, but for now you can watch a video on PopSugar with the same outfit. It's a special blogger edition of We Spy Style. They put our (bloggers) names in a bowl and my name was called first. I thought we were just watching and had NO IDEA there was a possibility of being on camera, so I hadn't touched up my heavy camera makeup in hours (in fact, I took a makeup wipe to my face about 5 hours prior and then just left it), and I was wearing Invisalign (which I'm SUPER self conscious about) so I was so completely caught off guard. Also - I was browsing F21 yesterday and got so excited when I found a super-similar dress to the one Alyson Hannigan wears in a promo for How I Met Your Mother. I've been drooling over hers for weeks, so I just might order it for holiday parties. I also found a similar (or same?) aztec cardigan as one I recently featured that sold out quickly. Then I included a couple other cute things that caught my eye. Which item is your favorite?
