Black and gold holiday outfit

Today's post is an outfit idea for a holiday party: wearing a blazer and skinny pants instead of a dress. I put together one example from my closet, but there are so many different ways you could wear it. My sequin top and shoes with metal details adds to the festive feel, and there are more examples of tops that could work in an outfit like this below (you could even try the ivory ones with an ivory suit).
