My 5-Minute Makeup Routine

When it comes to beauty, I prefer a makeup routine that doesn't take more than 5 minutes. As a creature of habit, I usually stick to the same products without ever changing it up, dating as far back as middle school or high school. That is, until today! Nordstrom asked me to review a handful of beauty products of my choosing, and share a video of my experience. Today I'm showing you my usual routine, but for the first time ever, I'm not using drug store brands. It was wonderful to give "grown up makeup" a try. I've always said I would graduate to better brands as I got older, and now feels like the right time to consider upgrading some of the products that I love to use!

2. bareMinerals Waterproof Mascara, $18
3. Clinique Extreme Volume Mascara, $19.50
4. Laura Geller Concealer, $22
5. MAC Liquid Eyeliner, $20
6. bareMinerals Blush 'Vintage Peach', $20
7. bareMinerals Foundation 'Satin', free with purchase
8. MAC Cremesheen Lipstick 'Peach Blossom', $16

My favorite products from the video are the Laura Geller concealer, the bareMinerals blush, the Clinique Extreme Volume mascara and the MAC lipstick. I don't think I'll buy the bareMinerals mascara (the wand is too small for my liking), or the bareMinerals foundation (the thin, slippery formula may just take some getting used to). Overall this was a great experience though. Some products in my routine are definitely getting an upgrade!

Check out the video to see my entire transformation and review. What beauty brands and products do you recommend?

Today's post is brought to you by Nordstrom. I was asked to review beauty products of my choosing and all opinions presented are my own. Thanks for reading and watching!
