Today's Everyday Fashion: The Truth
/A couple days ago I went down a rabbit hole called Instagram, and discovered a whole new world that I was previously unaware of. So. many. pretty. pictures. I left feeling inspired, and wanting to get creative with outfits and photographs. Like this photo above. In Instagram world, the caption would read "Sunday after church" or something equally whimsical.
But part of me feels uncomfortable posting this photo without sharing that when I got home from church I realized I still had a huge price tag sticker on the bottom of my shoe. Shoes that despite their tiny, practical heel gave me blisters almost instantly. And that I only brought the hat with me to church for photo purposes. It will always be in my nature to want to share that kind of information, no matter how popular sharing perfect, idyllic pictures becomes.
I hope the creativity keeps flowing, but for now I'll serve it with a big slice of reality on the side. Just like I like it.
