Today's Everyday Fashion: Wear What You Want

On one side, picture a woman in a bathrobe and slippers... on the other, a woman in a cocktail dress and heels. And the tagline would read: "Wear what you want!!" I've been blogging long enough (7 years) to know that many outfits I post won't be well-received. But even when I'm feel like it won't be a crowd-pleaser, I post it anyway! I truly believe in wearing what brings you joy and not letting anyone's opinion affect your decisions, and so I'm practicing what I preach! (For situations like a job interview, it matters in a different way, but from an art standpoint you should just do you.) I can't say for sure that you won't like today's outfit (it is VERY '70s and reminds me of Scooby Doo a little bit...so I get it if you don't). But I found this top 60% off during a Black Friday sale, and the super fun sleeves and rainbow flowers put a huge smile on my face, so it's a keeper. I paired it here with a suede jacket for our current "fall" weather, but I can't wait to wear it with white jeans or shorts this spring/summer, too!
