Today's Everyday Fashion: In Real Life

As a teenager reading fashion magazines, I wanted so badly to be able to create the type of organized chaos you often see in those pages. The outfits often included tons and tons of details and accessories piled on and yet there's this harmonious balance to them, too - much like you see in today's inspiration photo. I started using those ideas in my own closet (which eventually became a blog!) and while my versions almost always wind up being more toned down, they have their origins in that type of magazine styling. It's my version of animal print, mustard and icy blue that works in real life!
