Last month I declared a strong dislike for dress pants and then got to work trying to find a pair I could get excited about wearing. I kissed a lot of frogs, but I'm happy to report that it paid off. I found a great fit and bought two colors - the pink/purple tone pictured above, and black. No more choosing between "wearing something fun that I love" or "looking professional" - these pants are both!
Top: Saks Off Fifth, $30 (similar, similar, similar, similar)
Pants: Express, $40 (also got them in black)
Shoes: Steve Madden c/o Nordstrom, old
Purse: Aldo/Amazon, $40 (similar, similar, similar)
Necklace: Stella & Dot (similar, similar, similar)
Earrings: My Stella & Dot
Approx. dates: Necklace is 3 year ago. Top and purse are 2 years ago. Shoes are 1 year ago. Pants are new.
And one fail...
The majority of dress pants I tried on didn't make the cut - including this pair, above. The rise is a little too high, the legs are a little too long (I have them cuffed here). These pants come in other colors here. ps. The orange is VERY vibrant in person! I tried (and passed) on those too. ;-)
