Today's Everyday Fashion: Lace Crop Top For Work

I certainly never expected to see "lace crop top" and "work" in the same sentence but here we are. If alarm bells are going off in your head, allow me to explain. Crop tops do NOT mean your stomach is showing. Paired with all those (naturally high-waisted) pencil skirts from years ago you may still have in your closet like I do - you get the same silhouette as a tucked in shirt, without the hassle or bulge from tucking it in. (And any lace or any shirt that is "see through" is an easy fix. Just add an undershirt, or it may come with one attached, like mine above.) This look would not be appropriate for every workplace, but it's so prim and proper and pretty - it's hard to imagine it wouldn't work for many of them!
