Today's Everyday Fashion: The Holiday Outfit
/I'm so excited about today's post. Holiday outfits are way too much fun, and this one was all about saving money! It's a result of a holiday challenge I did with coupon website RetailMeNot. They provided a $150 bank gift card and issued the challenge to create a holiday outfit with the biggest savings possible using RetailMeNot coupons. The total for my outfit (top, skirt and belt) came to $96.94 and I saved $65.44 with coupons! I had a blast shopping, see below for other options I considered. I especially loved the RetailMeNot app - it automatically prompts your phone when you enter a mall, with a list of coupons available in that mall. I plan to wear today's black and red ensemble for a holiday TV segment this week, and also for Christmas Eve.

During my hunt for the perfect holiday outfit, I picked up a few pieces using my own budget. RetailMeNot had coupons for all of these stores, and I had a blast trying on everything you see here. Ultimately I loved it all, but wound up purchasing the printed Ann Taylor top, Limited dress and Forever 21 shoes. I'm also considering the LOFT skirt and Forever 21 dress. With all these cute finds, I've got every upcoming holiday event covered and then some!
