Olive sweater with black shorts

I like mixing the unexpected, which is what initially drew me to today's inspiration photo. A heavy sweater paired with bare legs, and leather paired with casual sneakers. I had similar colors in my closet, so I gave it a try. I'm not 100% convinced that either outfit idea works for practical purposes, however, since there isn't much weather conducive to a heavy sweater with bare legs. If I ever wake up to such weather... I might just throw this outfit on!

Approx. dates: Sweater is 4 years ago. Purse is 2.5 years ago. Shorts are this summer, shoes are recent.
