Today's Everyday Fashion: Print Mixing

Print mixing creates a jumpsuit effect

Print mixing is a tough cookie. My inspiration knocked it out of the park, though. The colors of her pieces (I think they are two pieces?) are identical, and one print is a much larger scale than the other. In my version, I got the colors right (both pieces are navy), but the scales are a not very far apart (both prints are pretty small). The end result feels a bit like I'm wearing a jumpsuit, due to the prints being so similar! Even though my prints don't follow the "rules" I'd still rock it given an appropriate event to wear it to.

Look for less: Reese Witherspoon blue floral dress

Choies Dress, $21.99

Also: quite possibly my favorite look for less find, ever! A dead ringer for Reese Witherspoon's dress for less than $25! Buyer beware though - I have ordered from Choies and at 5'7" found their dresses to be way too short on me. (Like a lot shorter than Forever 21!) I was happy with the quality, though. In this case, petite girls have all the fun!
