For the Love of the Hawaiian Shirt

Today I'm partnering with Carnival Cruise Lines to talk about one of the most iconic pieces of clothing on the planet: the classic Hawaiian shirt! It's well-loved by travelers and party-goers alike, and it's popularity only seems to get stronger as years pass. My personal preference? I'm a huge fan of close cousin “palm prints,” which have taken off as one of the hottest trends this summer. Palm prints are a bit more subdued, and have graphics of actual palm trees and leaves while maintaining that tropical feel we associate with Hawaiian shirts. Of course the different ways you can wear it – rompers, shorts, swimsuits – certainly help the cuteness factor, too! (See examples on a budget below.) My own top is also an example of this type of style - I shared three ways I’ve worn it above.

Why all the tropical prints today? One, because… palm prints. They are just too cute. And two, I wanted to kick-off my partnership with Carnival Cruise Lines with something fun and colorful. I’ve gone on two Carnival cruises since the inception of this blog (non-sponsored), so partnering together over the next couple months for a trip and some blog content is a match made in heaven. I’ll be sharing all my best tips (packing, shopping, dress codes), and of course pictures from the trip. Palm prints will certainly be making the cut when I pack my bags!

Would you ever wear a palm print? Which one below is most your style?
