Today's Everyday Fashion: The Sequin Suit

I've had this suit from Banana Republic for almost two years and I've never worn the two pieces together. The blazer and skirt might look familiar on their own - I've worn each on the blog quite a few times. But together? Never. At least not until I spotted this inspiration photo from Ann Taylor. I loved the idea of a monochromatic suit with a bit of sparkle to break things up. Add a dash of the python trend I'm digging right now (via shoes I've had for ages - proof that if you hold onto something long enough, it will come back in style!), and you have a great work look that can easily transition to night.
