Mint & Leopard

Mint and leopard is quickly becoming my favorite combination! I've worn mint jeans plus a leopard belt, and a leopard top with mint jeans (see here), so a mint top and leopard skirt seemed like the logical next step. The heels version works for a formal dinner, and the flats make it more daytime appropriate (take it a step further by removing the necklace). Is mint + leopard a combo you've tried?

Dark Chambray

It's hard tell from the photo, but this shirt is super neon, almost glow in the dark. Skirting the Issue

Mixing Stripes

Inspiration: People

Last year I paired this top with basic black for a night out (here). This year I got a little more bold and paired the same top with bright yellow a la my inspiration picture! I'm a huge fan of bright colors, but when I do go neutral, I love picking pieces with fun textures like lace and crochet. I had the hardest time deciding which pair of ALDO shoes to get with my gift card! I so appreciated everyone's votes [in this post]; it was a tough call between the ones I'm wearing and the three pairs below. The wedges below were awesome but a little too high of a heel for me, and the other two were SO fabulous on, but I ultimately decided to go with a more neutral wedge. The color goes with just about anything, and are comfy enough for errands and fun enough for a night out, making them the ultimate versatile shoe. Today's Everyday Fashion: Beach Day

I spent the day on the beach yesterday, and I wore this maxi for dinner afterwards! (Note: I went for nude sandals instead of the ones pictured.) Both this dress and similarly-printed top are recent Old Navy online purchases. Every so often Old Navy knocks one out of the park, and I loved both even more in person than I did online. Today's Everyday Fashion: Striped Peplum

I did a little experimenting with my new striped peplum top yesterday. I like doing this with new items, before it comes time to actually get dressed. I"m always running late and if I leave it to the last minute, I wind up hating what I'm wearing. This way, I've got a bunch of outfits in mind for this top - I know what bottoms work and what shoes are an option depending on how much walking I have to do!

My first try included navy sailor shorts, but the shorts are too big so they are going back (you can't tell at all from the picture, it's the back view, promise). Next up I went for white bottoms. I love it with both shorts and jeans, and red shoes are fun but I think I like neutral white and brown even better. Which version is your favorite?
