I'm all for giving new things a try - which is why I took the plunge with these shorts! Initially I was nervous about the ruffles adding volume and the slightly high-rise fit, but in the end they totally won me over. I enjoy stepping out of my comfort from time to time with new shapes and I'm excited to try them with different tops. I wore today's look to two networking events on Thursday night, and tomorrow I'll be sharing more items I tried on from Spiegel in a full review (for now, take 20% with code Spiegel2013).
